Slovenia 13th Among 162 countries on the Global Peace Index
Slovenia took 13th spot among 162 countries on the Global Peace Index unveiled on Wednesday by the Institute for Economics and Peace, an Australian non-profit organisation. Compared to last year, the country lost five spots but still ranks among states with a “very high” level of peace.
I am reminded of the prophet Jeremiah:
They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

People can have the whole world, yet still be prevaded by a sense of hopelessness.
